Mr. Khalid Saeed Wattoo
He received his early education from the prestigious Atchison College, Lahore. He began his career in law as a practicing lawyer in Lahore, worked under the legendary Mr. Ghulam Bari Saleemi, an advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, and conducted a number of murder trials. After passing the competitive exam, he joined judicial service as a civil judge cum judicial magistrate in the year 2000. He served as a Senior Civil Judge, Lahore and was awarded a laptop in recognition of swift disposal of the cases by the Lahore High Court, Lahore. After his promotion as Additional District & Sessions Judge, he remained posted at Jhelum, Faisalabad, and Lahore. He also received a certificate of meritorious performance from the then learned District & Sessions Judge Jhelum and a cash prize for efficient disposal of murder cases from the then learned District & Sessions Judge, Faisalabad. He also served as Additional Registrar (HR), Lahore High Court Establishment, in the year-2019. He played a key role in setting up the Overseas Pakistanis Cell in Lahore High Court, Lahore dedicated to addressing the issues faced by overseas litigants. Additionally, he had the distinction of being the inaugural Director of the Overseas Pakistanis Cell, spearheading its operations and initiatives. He is an accredited mediator certified by the International Finance Commission. Since May 20th, 2024, he has been posted as a Senior Research Officer at the Lahore High Court Research Center.
