Mrs. Sofia Malik hails from District Chakwal. She did B.A. , L.L.B. Hon’s Shariah & Law from International Islamic University, Islamabad, with distinction of having been topper of batch throughout academic session as well as earned two gold medals, in year 2007. She completed her L.L.M (Muslim Family Laws) in year 2012, along-with scholarship for Warsaw University, Poland under cover of ERASMUS MUNDUS, Exchange of International Students program in year 2010-11, where she researched & dealt with topic of “Financial empowerment of women in Shriah & Law”. She was enrolled to practice as an Advocate in year 2010. Thereafter, she got inducted in service as Civil Judge/Judicial Magistrate in year 2014, where-after she remained posted at Sub-Division Gujjar Khan of District Rawalpindi, District Headquarter Khushab, again at Sub-Division Gujjar Khan of District Rawalpindi and lastly at Lahore. Now she is posted as Research Officer at Lahore High Court Research Centre, Rawalpindi Bench, Rawalpindi in December, 2021
